In 1971, Jack and Diana Carmel opened the doors of J&D Financial in Miami, Florida. Having recently sold a highly successful manufacturing company, Jack parlayed his business acumen into helping other entrepreneurs reach their dreams through factoring, purchase order financing and cash flow solutions. For almost 50 years, Jack & Diana along with Jack’s other children and their son David, dispensed advice and encouragement to fledgling businesses nationwide, carefully choosing to support the entrepreneurs they believed had something special.

After 15 years working at J&D, Jack and Diane’s son, David, took over the company in 2019. Keeping it all in the family, David’s wife Jill joined the team. As the “new” J&D, the couple remains committed to building the company while staying true to the heritage, values and traditions that helped to make J&D a trusted investor in new businesses. With offices on both coasts, J&D aims to provide an even more personalized service and flexible lending platform to businesses across the country and furthering J&D’s original mission of providing financing to deserving entrepreneurs with the goal of helping them grow their business onto a new level.
